Project content CES made a pre-assessment of the property in order to define the best strategy to achieve a LEED Gold certified building. The pre-assessment phase included a detailed analyses of the sustainability criteria as defined by LEED system; including the inspection of HVAC systems, energy and water consumption data etc.Subsequent to the pre-assessment phase, CES is developing and working on the whole certification process, proposing and implementing necessary measures in order to achieve a LEED Gold certification. As the hotel, that is also located in the building, is undergoing a complete renovation, special attention has was given to combine the required hotel standards with specific green building standards.
Project specifics The project is aiming for certification under the Existing buildings-OM system, which means that special attention needs to be given to value engineering and optimization of operation processes in the building, like cleaning and waste management. CES team has successfully defined optimized strategy to fulfil the necessary green building standards.
