Your future role:

For the further development of our activities, CES is looking for a Senior Project Manager for Plant Engineering and Renewable Energy.

Based in Vienna, travelling in Austria and occasionally in our project countries (Western Balkans, CIS etc.) you will support our clients in the following tasks:

  • Management and coordination of planning and implementation projects
  • Conception and development of technical solutions (planning, specifications, calculations)
  • Leading the preparation of tender documents and supporting our customers in tendering procedures
  • Writing reports and studies (progress reports, feasibility studies, due diligence, etc.)
  • Review of implementation plans and the construction of plants, including on-site visits if necessary

The aim of the position is to take over the management of a planning and project execution team after a transitional period.

Your tasks in this case would be:

  • Management and further development of a planning team with currently approx. 5 employees
  • Management of interdisciplinary projects and teams or international teams of experts
  • Strategic further development of the specialist area
  • Acquisition of new customers and projects
    Cross-team budget and cost planning

We would be pleased if you have the following:

  • Engineering degree, e.g. MSc. Mechanical engineering, process engineering or environmental sciences
  • 10 years of experience in the planning and realisation of plant construction projects
  • Experience in several of the following areas: District heating, large-scale solar thermal plants, biomass heating or cogeneration, biogas, wastewater treatment by anaerobic digestion, industrial cooling, large-scale heat pumps, thermal power plants or energy efficiency in industry
  • Excellent computer/software skills incl. CAD/BIM
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (business fluent)

  • Gross monthly salary, depending on professional qualifications and experience, at least EUR 4,500 (based on full-time employment 40 h/week, excl. bonuses and overtime).  There is a willingness to make a significant overpayment.
