Ukraine – Project Implementation support for the Action “Repair and reconstruction of damaged critical infrastructure”

The EU is providing financing to Ukrainian local communities to repair damaged and vulnerable infrastructure facilities in liberated cities in Ukraine. The Implementing Agency, the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO), has identified approx. 70 rehabilitation projects in 15 Cities in Kyiv Region. The projects specifically focus on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure, DH networks, and boiler houses. CES provides services in the position of the PIU Support Consultant and supervisor. n The objective of the assignment is to support Ukrainian Municipalities in the rehabilitation of damaged municipal infrastructure and to increase the resilience of critical facilities within the communities. n The total grant from the EU to be provided to the local communities is estimated to be EUR 46 Mio. The Action will be implemented in 15 local communities in the Kyiv region as follows:n • District Heating projects: Borodianka, Irpin, Slavutych, Borschagivka, Dymer;n • Water and wastewater projects: Irpin (incl. Bucha), Hostomel, Borodianka, Nemishaeve, Piskivka, Kalynivka, Dmytrivka, Ivankiv (2 Utilities), Dymer Velyka, Dymerka.
