New EE building constructions may be eligible for the GGF in countries which have implemented an appropriate building certification program or a comparable approved methodology. In 2018, the Law on Energy Efficiency in Buildings came to force in Ukraine which transposes to the EU Directive 2010/31/EU on the Energy Performance of Buildings.
