CES clean energy solutions was contracted to perform an Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) for 3 windpark developments to assess potential risks related to the environment and/or human beings. The assessment is performed based on existing documentation available for the subject development and public information. The ESDD deals with the specific land plots and the planned developments and includes all topics on existing structures and its direct surrounding as far as these are not covered by other due diligence studies (Legal, Technical DD).

The Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) encompasses a phase 1 assessment including an expert’s appraisal on the environmental and social quality of the subject project/plot based on (1) existing, publicly available data, project documentation provided in a Client’s data room, and (2) based on a site visit. The results are summarized in a red flag report indicating potential risks and providing cost estimations for further investigations or surveys and indicative costs for remediation or mitigation measures.
