  • United Kingdom – EBRD: Regional: Support for higher performance technologies through supply chains (Green TFP)

The EBRD aims to link the Bank’s intermediated financing instruments – GEFFs and the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) – with the provision of dedicated support for enhanced transfer of technologies and services, which are in line with EBRDs Green Economy Transitions (GET) approach, to end-users (businesses, households, municipalities), which is to be called the Green Trade Facilitation Programme (Green TFP). Furthermore, the Green TFP will support the introduction and promotion of high-performing technologies and services in partnership with Partner Banks (PBs).n The objective of this Assignment is to develop the capacity of TFP PBs to increase their trade business volumes in climate change adaptation and mitigation technologies and materials. This will be achieved by establishing and spreading better understanding of climate change adaptation and mitigation technologies and materials through assessing PBs’ TFP trade finance portfolio and holding workshops. This will contribute to better access to sustainable energy technologies and services in the local market, as well as to the expansion of sustainable energy financing operations in the countries where EBRD invests.
