Vienna, Austria – Comprehensive pollutant investigation of the former biocentre at the University Centre

For the extensive building complex of the Biozentrum of the University of Vienna at Althanstraße 14, 1090 Vienna, which will be in use until 2018, CES experts were commissioned by the Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft (BIG) to carry out a comprehensive investigation of contaminants and impurities in accordance with ISO 16000-32, building on previous asbestos and mineral fibre investigations by CES. In the process, the occurrence of components containing harmful substances was determined by means of inspections and selective component openings on all levels, and material analyses were carried out. CES provides a semi-quantitative list of all pollutant occurrences within the comprehensive planning and photographic documentation.
