The aim of the feasibility study was the identification of the potential for solar energy in Kosovo, particularly intending to utilize solar thermal heat generation, seasonal heat storage, and its integration with the DH network in the Pristina region.
Development of a large scale solar thermal plant: Seasonal heat storage; Absorption heat pump for utilization of the low temperature; Connection to the CHP heat transmission pipe; Double utilization of the seasonal storage also for the CHP, peak load storage.
