Ukraine- BREEAM-Certification for Silpo Re Cycling

CES was engaged to support the BREEAM International New Construction 2016 certification process for a newly developed flagship retail store, with the objective of achieving the highest possible rating based on project performance, targeting at minimum a “Good” certification level.

The certification process was carried out in two key phases: the Design Stage and the Construction & Post-Construction Stage. During the design stage, CES provided comprehensive management of the BREEAM certification process, including technical consultation and coordination with the project and design teams. All relevant criteria and selected credits were addressed systematically to align with the pre-defined sustainability strategy.

Throughout the construction and post-construction phases, CES continued to offer guidance on meeting BREEAM performance requirements, ensuring compliance with both design intent and on-site implementation. This included support for the preparation and submission of final documentation necessary for obtaining the official BREEAM certificate.

By integrating sustainability principles from early planning through project completion, CES enabled the client to optimize the building’s environmental performance and successfully pursue internationally recognized green building certification.
