  • Kherson, Ukraine – Feasibility Study and Project Implementation Unit Support for Energy Efficiency Improvements in Public Buildings and Street Lighting in the City

The main objective of the assignment was to develop a Feasibility Study, which would enable NEFCO and other donors to structure a bankable Priority Investment Programme for energy efficiency measures of the main public hospital of the city of Kherson, the street lighting system, and installation of a biofuel-fired boiler. NEFCO aimed to provide credit financing to the City in order to increase energy efficiency in the O.S. Luchanskogo Kherson municipal clinical hospital and thereto connected municipal buildings, and to increase the energy efficiency of street lighting of the city (including the nearby villages of Antonivka, Kamyshany, Zelenivka) with the primary objective of reducing natural gas consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
