The objective of the EBRD is to develop the market for energy performance contracting in the public buildings sector. The EBRD supports this development with the elaboration of the contractual framework and by means of a credit line for Ukrainian cities. TA in the preparation and implementation of public building rehabilitation projects for an investment volume of up to EUR 100 million through individual municipal loans with an max. amount of EUR 20 million per municipality with the target to improve energy efficiency in schools, hospitals, kindergartens and governmental buildings and for street lighting.
