The aim was to identify and assess environmental risks.
An international investor planned the construction of a hotel building in the area of the former Nordbahnhof plots. CES experts supported the conduct of a pre-purchase Due Diligence study in the field of environmental risk assessment.
Prior to the site visit, CES conducted a document review and document survey, as well as design research and interviews with previous project participants. During the walk-through, surface indications of contaminated sites and pollutants were interpreted and drill points for soil outcrops were defined. Documentation and final documentation include the results of the walk-through and identify specific recommendations for action.
