Vienna, Austria – Don Bosco Haus: Sustainable Refurbishment Concept

Achieving energy potential savings, optimization of the costs of the life-cycle, and preparation of a sustainable reclamation concept.

For the Don Bosco Haus in 1130 Vienna, St. Veit-Gasse 25, a renovation concept was developed in correspondence with the content guidelines of the house. The Don Bosco House was gradually renovated until 2020, whereby the refurbishment concept was oriented towards the needs of the house. Special emphasis was placed on a sustainable refurbishment concept. The dining room was extended, and the possibility of an attic extension was examined.

OUr services

CES in collaboration with iC consulenten, prepared a feasibility study for a refurbishment concept to be implemented in several phases until the year 2020. The feasibility study included several refurbishment scenarios, depending on the available investment volume. The technical feasibility assessment was partially supported by a developed BIM model.
