As one part is a joint district heating and cooling system heat can be sold during summer time. The district colling pipe enables the operator to decide, which process shall deliver the cooling power. EVN installed two cooling facilities, which then were connected by a district cooling pipe, in order to supply the Hospital of Mödling and the EVN corporate headquarter with cooling for air conditioning.
