Bosnia and Herzegovina – EBRD: Pale District Heating – Feasibility Study

Modernisation of the district heating system to improve the efficiency and reliability of the district heating supply in Pale. The city of Pale has requested the EBRD to provide a loan to finance the rehabilitation and modernisation of the district heating system in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the district heating supply in Pale, and make more efficient the provision of heat and hot water services to the city residents. The Consultant was awarded to elaborate a feasibility study including a detailed priority investment programme under consideration of its benefits and its environmental and social feasibility. The Project included, for example the replacement of boilers with biomass heating boilers, replacement of substations including heat meters and heat cost allocators, etc.
