Both biomass heating plants were designed for highly efficient production of power and district heat and the optimum utilisation of the primary energy content of wood chips, a renewable solid fuel. This approach was environmentally friendly and helped to reduce global CO2 emissions.
The Consultant was assigned by EVN to provide process, plant and electrical engineering services in the tendering and detail planning stage, supervision and implementation services for 2 biomass combined heat and power plants situated in Vösendorf and Ramingdorf, Austria.
