The Vithkuq hydropower station is located in the region Korca in southern Albania and uses the Osum river for energy production. The project comprised a week of reservoir and construction of an earth-fill dam, with an uncontrolled lateral spillway, bottom outlet, 2.8 km penstock DN 700, and extension of the existing powerhouse for the new generating unit.

OUr services

The planning covered a review of the existing hydrological data, optimization of plant design, cost analysis of penstock material variants, initial layout of the plant, and design of the hydropower plant facilities for approval by authorities. In addition to planning, the technical specifications and tender documents for the new turbine-generator unit and the penstock were prepared.
