Energy audits were conducted in 21 companies of the following industrial branches: Pulp and paper, cement, glass, meat, bakery and pasta, galvanic and hydraulic aggregates, and energy.
The EBRD supported investments in the energy efficiency sector (EE) and the renewable energy (RE) sector in Ukraine. The Consultant was entrusted with the evaluation of approx. 25 potential EE and RE projects.
The EBRD placed special emphasis on supporting investments that improve energy efficiency (EE) or promote renewable energy (RE) in Ukraine. In this context, EBRD has established a credit line for EE and RE projects aimed at end-users in the industrial sector. In order to overcome existing barriers to such investments, the Consultant provided services-related project preparation, technical/financial project analysis, energy auditing, and CO2 emission analyses. In total approx. 60 projects were to be evaluated under the programme.
