Professional and standardized implementation and documentation of the complete dismantling, treatment, and disposal of asbestos-containing components and stock prior to demolition of the Zeltweg power plant.A consortium of MCI and Boehm & Lange conducted demolition works of the abandoned steam power plant at Zeltweg (Styria, Mur Valley). Components consisting of weakly bound asbestos (ACM) were in insulation, flanges and dividers throughout the entire plant facilities. The asbestos removal took place at different levels of the boiler house and was accompanied and monitored by CES.
