The environmental due diligence (EDD) dealt with the property to be developed and the buildings located there (if applicable) and its immediate neighborhood in terms of soil contamination and related aspects. In the first phase, an assessment of the environmental quality of the site was made based on the existing, generally available site-related documentation. An international investor planned the construction of a hotel building in the area of the former Nordbahnhof property. CES supported the due diligence in the area of environmental risks in the course of the land acquisition.
