The objective was to conduct a quantitative survey on stored and built-in asbestos-containing materials incl. an assessment of the potential hazard to employees on site.The on-site survey of the objects in operation was carried out as non-destructive testing. In cases of concrete suspicion, asbestos deposits that could not be visually identified were verified by exploratory exposure with the approval of the safety expert. Material samples were taken for subsequent laboratory analysis, which required the wearing of personal protective equipment. Based on experience in similar projects, both weakly and strongly bound asbestos deposits were assessed during the inventory.
