On behalf of a private investor, CES was awarded a contract for planning the run-of-river Gudauri hydropower plant in northern Georgia and for registration as a CDM project.Gudauri hydro power scheme was located on the River Tetri Aragvi and was planned in two stages. The first development stage comprised the hydropower plant with two Pelton turbine units of 4 MW each. In the final development, the hydropower scheme had a total output of 9.2 MW.
