An asbestos survey was carried out to optimize internal company processes for environmental and employee protection and to be able to derive measures from potential sources of ACM-related hazards.In four operating properties of Accor Hotels in Austria, inventory surveys were carried out in order to obtain an overview of installed asbestos-containing materials and products. During the preparation of the surveys, construction plans and previous reports (e.g., due diligence) were reviewed for building material history. During the on-site survey of both public and private areas, material samples were taken to determine the asbestos content of suspect products.
